The white album on 3-3/4 IPS Twin track mono. Full album on one 5» reel version in Jewel case from 1968.
Apart from some minor cracks in the plastic case this one is in absolutely stunning condition. The construction of these cases makes the front flap of the paper insert follow the case lid when opening and this makes them prone to creasing/bending about 1cm from the back. This is also the case with this one, buy it is also the only issue. In other words this is an extremely nice copy of the WHITE ALBUM ON REEL TO REEL TAPE.
I have played this through in its whole playing side on on a portable SONY TC-210 mono player and side two on a SONY TC-660 stereo player and it sounds terrific! The drums and the bass are an absolute delight. These tapes, as opposed to the vinyl records, have not been EQ’ed and readjusted to compensate for the losses assosiated with cutting and pressing records. These were made in real-time copied off of the original master tapes on EMI’s state of the art equipment and is the closest you will get to
an actual master tape, with the sound as perceived by Sir George Martin and the Beatles themselves in the studio.
So hopefully anyone that buys this will take the time and effort to listen through it at least once before stashing it together with the rest of the Beatles-collection :-)

Because I am in Norway, the «domestic shipping» is actually international shipping(unless the buyer is also in Norway, that is) and so is the international shipping. So please don’t bid unless you are prepared to pay the actual costs which is 42-48$ depending on weight. Sorry to keep repeating this but I feel the need to make this very clear in order to avoid any misunderstandings. I will try to put up some related items when i list so that COMBINED SHIPPING can take the edge of the high shipping costs.
