Immaculate original UK pressing of MGM CS 8108 with 50/50 yin-yang label configuration, VU's beautiful third album, in its super rare UK incarnation, with what was then the wrong mix. 2YMG 291-1G, 2YMG 292-1G matrices. All other contemporary versions were pressed using Lou Reed's remix (the so called 'closet mix' for obvious reasons). It would seem that somehow MGM sent EMI Val Valentin's original mix instead. Not only generally cleaner, defined and open, there is a different take of Some Kinda Love. Someone in the EMI art department was having fun too, turning the reverse image for a horizontal split, and rearranging the text to suit. Billy Name is credited for Photos. The half laminated flipback G&L jacket is NM, the only wear being a tiny chip to the top of the spine. That little spot on the flipback that appears in the fifth photo is an inclusion... it is under the laminate. The LP is top NM. Replacement new lined inner, but complete with NM original unlined paper inner. Extremely rare, there were estimated to be a mere 300 of these pressed . Find another in this condition. A beauty. Could this be rarer than an Emerson VU and Nico? I wonder. Of course this benefits from top quality EMI pressing and vinyl. The start price would be a gift. Good luck!

I ensure that my records arrive with you in the same lovely condition they leave me. They are sandwiched between two 34 x 34 x 1.25 cm sheets of expanded polystyrene and securely packaged in sturdy professional custom made cruciform card wraps. I do not use bits of old cardboard box or those cheap flimsy envelope style mailers. Records are always packed out of the jackets to avoid any splits.
