Vinyl: David Bowie LP Dress The man who sold the world Mercury UK 1971 6338041 Original

This great copy of the original Man Who Sold The World was bought by my wife on June 10th, 1971 shortly after it was released in the UK. We know this because she wrote it in light pencil on the original inner sleeve as you can see on one of the photographs. The album has been played but both the vinyl and cover have been carefully looked after. To preserve its condition we acquired a copy of the same album in the late 1980s on compact disc. The last time it was played the sound was perfect with no clicks or jumps. This album has great sentimental value and is a most reluctant sale. I have included several photos of it to try and convey the great care we have taken to preserve its condition and I am, of course, happy to answer any questions or forward additional photos as required. On 26-Jan-16 at 18:58:24 GMT, seller added the following information: It has been kindly pointed out to me that this particular copy is even more rare as it has the producer's name mis-spelt as 'Tonny' Visconti on both sides of the vinyl. This mistake was, I understand, quickly corrected in subsequent pressings to 'Tony'.
